CITES
CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) is an international agreement between governments aiming to ensure that international trade in specimens of wild animals and plants does not threaten their survival.
In case an article made from python, crocodile or other protected specimens should be shipped out of EU, a special CITES certificate must be applied for, as it will be asked by all involved Customs to permit import and/or re-export.
